A Status Yellow warning for heavy rain is in effect for five counties as a storm system hits Ireland.
The warning, which covers counties Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, and Wexford, will remain in place until 1pm on Wednesday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rainfall, which may cause localized flooding.
