Dublin Fire Brigade released this image of a fallen tree on a car in Dublin. The driver luckily had gotten out of the car and wasn’t near it when the tree fell, but emergency services have warned drivers to be extremely careful tonight as winds of 110klm grip the country.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow weather warning in fear of what they say could be fallen trees, heavy flooding and extremely strong winds.
Gardai advised car owners parked on the Clontarf Road seafront around the Dublin Bus depot to move their cars due to rising water levels and the fear of flooding.
A flat roof on a building on Pembroke Street in Dublin collapsed this afternoon with thankfully no injuries reported.
