Storm Hannah came to Ireland yesterday evening and absolutely hammered the south west of the country.
ESB Networks reported that at least 10,000 homes were without power by 9pm last evening as a number fo faults occurred in counties Cork and Kerry as high strong are making their way in from the coast.
Kenmare in Co Kerry and Garrabane experienced the worst of the weather and were without power from early yesterday evening.
ESB crews are said to be out on the roads already today working to restore power in for the thousands without electricity.
The worst of the weather is now thankfully behind us with Storm Hannah hopefully gone entirely by midday.
