Multiple weather warnings are now in place as a violent storm system slams into Ireland.
Storm Jocelyn will make landfall at around 5pm today. According to the national forecaster, the storm system brings severe, and potentially damaging gusts of wind.
Gardai are advising motorists to avoid unnecessary journeys throughout the evening and night.
