The lure of power is just too strong to pull away from, even if it means sharing that power.
It is understood that acting Taoiseach Enda Kenny has now offered a ‘full and equal partnership’ in power to his arch-rival, Micheal Martin.
Both men met in Leinster House late this evening to discuss the power sharing arrangements, presumably.
Earlier in the Dáil chamber, Mr. Kenny had said that he had invited Mr. Martin for ‘a conversation,’ adding that he expected Martin to ‘oblige in that regard.’
