Stripe, the online payment company founded by two brothers from Limerick has just raised a further $600 million of funding which now values the company at $95 Billion reports Entrepreneur.com
The funding now values Stripe as the most valuable private tech company in the world. Even SpaceX can’t make this claim with their last valuation of $72 Billion.
Stripe plans to hire 1,000 new workers in it’s Dublin office.
Founders and brothers Patrick and John Collison are still very active in the company which helps software developers and e-commerce owners to quickly and securely add add the ability to take payments from would-be customers worldwide.
As a privately-held company, Stripe doesn’t disclose specific financial information.
