Storm Hannah arrives in the South West as a number of power outages have been reported




 

The effects of Storm Hannah has seemingly already begun as a number of power outages have been reported in the South West.

According to ESB Networks, two faults have already occurred in counties Cork and Kerry as high strong are making their way in from the coast.

It is understood that a number of homes in Kenmare, Co Kerry have been left without power this evening, whilst Garrabane also experienced faults earlier this evening.

Meanwhile ESB crews are working hard to restore power in Macroom, Co Cork this evening.

In a post on their Twitter page, ESB Networks have said that they hope to have power restored to the affected areas by 9 or 10pm this evening.
