Study claims healthy boys are more at risk from Covid vaccine than from Covid virus

Research carried out in the U.S has claimed that healthy boys are more at risk of hospitalization from the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine than from the Chinese virus itself.

The Guardian reported that in the analysis of the researchers, the medical data suggests that boys aged 12 to 15, with no underlying medical conditions, are four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than ending up in hospital with Covid over a four-month period.

The study conducted by Dr Tracy Høeg and his collegues at the University of California analysed adverse reactions to Covid vaccines in US children aged 12 to 17 during the first six months of 2021.

They estimate the rate of myocarditis after two shots of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to be 162.2 cases per million for healthy boys aged 12 to 15 and 94 cases per million for healthy boys aged 16 to 17 The Guardian reported.

Myocarditis is Inflammation and damage of the heart muscle known, most commonly caused by a viral infection, but can also be an infection of bacteria, fungi, parasite or a reaction to a drug.

Saul Faust, professor of pediatric immunology and infectious diseases at the University of Southampton, was not involved in the work but said the findings appear to justify the cautious approach taken on teenage vaccines by the UK’s Joint Committee on Vaccines and Immunization.

Any sort of criticism or public expression of concern regarding the Covid-19 vaccines has been treated as blasphemy and so far this research has received only little media coverage.
