A group of 70 people, including 63 army cadets aged between 12 and 17 were caught badly with inclement weather today in the Mourne Mountains.
A rescue mission was launched which saw divisions of all emergency departments deployed to the scene where some children had injuries to their backs and ankles as well as suffering from hypothermia.
The PSNI have confirmed that all 63 cadets and 7 instructors have thankfully been successfully rescued from the mountainous area.
