They may get it wrong from time to time but let’s hope that this week isn’t one of those predictions.
The national forecaster says Ireland is in for some genuine summer weather after a very lacklustre number of weeks.
Met Eireann is forecasting sizzling temperatures for most of the coming week, as the thermometer is expected to rise to 25C at times.
The good news is that the summer-like weather is likely to remain for most of the week, though things are expected to take a turn for the worse by Friday with temperatures easing off and possibly a few scattered showers in places.
Either way, get out and make the most of it while it’s here!
