The weather outlook for the present moment is let’s face it pretty miserable, but you may not need the overcoat for much longer as the upcoming Easter weekend is set to give Ireland a much needed warm spell.
According to Met Éireann, temperatures across the country are set to rise significantly with Good Friday looking set to be relatively warm.
Following on from strong winds and heavy rainfall, the weather outlook will look a whole lot more promising as the week goes by.
The national forecaster say temperatures will pick up once a warm from sweeps across the Irish and British Isles later in the week.
It is expected that temperatures will range between 18 to 20C on Good Friday and the warm spell will continue throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
The rise in temperatures will also come with prolonged dry and sunny spells towards the end of the week, however some light showers may occur in the South East.
