We had wind, rain, frost, ice, snow and even a number of storms this winter, but fear not – summer is finally in sight!
The ‘Beauty from the East’ promises to bring a blast of sunshine and warmth to welcome the month of May from today with temperatures getting warmer as the week goes by.
Temperatures are expected to soar to 20C in parts over the Bank Holiday, as warm front moves in from eastern Europe.
Keep the brolly close by however as the weather will remain rather changeable in the run-up to the weekend, however, with spells of rain and temperatures of just 9-12C at times.
