The country was lashed by high winds yesterday, with heavy rains thrown in for good measure.
Conditions have greatly improved today, and sunny and mostly dry weather will be predominant throughout the first half of the day. Cloud cover will increase towards the afternoon and evening though, bringing about scattered heavy showers.
Further rain will develop tomorrow, Sunday, mostly in the west. And come Monday morning, wet conditions are expected to remain, though temperatures will reach 20C in most places.
