The current season is ‘summer’ in name only, as the predominantly wet weather leaves no chance of any summer-like activity.
It’s not all bad news though, as today, Monday, will be largely dry and sunny, with temperatures ranging between 15-19C.
The respite will be short-lived however, as further rain is expected to arrive overnight.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, will begin cloudy and misty, with scattered outbreaks of rain, turning heavy and persistent in places.
Wednesday will be pretty much the same, but the rain will likely clear by the afternoon. The rest of the week is forecast to be dry and more according to summer conditions.
