Superman star Margot Kidder has passed away, aged 69.
Kidder became a household name after playing the part of reporter Lois Lane, opposite Christopher Reeve in the worldwide 1978 hit movie Superman. She would reprise the role in the three Superman sequels.
It is understood that the actress passed away peacefully at her home in Livingston, Montana, at the age of 69.
The cause of death has not been revealed.
