A new opinion poll suggests a substantial increase in popular support for Sinn Fein over the last month.
The same poll indicates a slight fall in support for the Coalition parties.
Both Fine Gael and Labour have lost some ground, dropping two points each to 25% and 8% respectively.
Fianna Fáil rises 1% to 19%, with Sinn Féin making a substantial gain of 5%. Support for the party now stands at 22%, which means it has clawed back all territory lost one month prior.
Independents and Others are down 2% to 26%. The Greens and Renua Ireland are included there, on 1% each.
The poll was conducted on 1,006 adults over 3 days.
