Swimmers are being advised to avoid certain beaches due to potential bacterial contamination following heavy rain.
It is understood that the water at Keem Bay in Achill, Waterville and Ballybunion in Co. Kerry, and some areas in Dublin, Galway, Clare, Donegal, and Wexford should be avoided.
