Switch off: New study claims that Irish people check their mobile phones an average of 50 times a day

Irish people check their phones an average of 50 times a day, according to a new study carried out by Deloitte.

This figure, while shocking, is actually down from last year’s record of 55 times.

The study results claim that women check their phones 54 times a day on average, while men do it just 46 times.
