The Tánaiste Joan Burton has said she wants the people of Ireland to give her suggestions on what the government should do for voters.
The news comes after the Tanaiste launched a new website setup for people to voice their opinions and give their suggestions. Ms Burton said shred wants people to tweet using the hashtag #TalkToJoan. Ms Burton also says she wants suggestions from people on where the Government should go from here, regarding unemployment with it now officially below 10%.
Although Ms Burton says she is fully aware that she will receive wide spread criticism, but stated that she will only pay heed to constructive comments. Ms Burton said: “Well, we have, and I think most parties in ireland experience the so-called keyboard warriors, and I think we are all used to reading an amount of that comment. “I am really concentrating on people who have positive ideas.”
