The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that Level 5 and 3 restrictions in recent weeks.
Speaking about the possibility of leaving Level 5 restrictions on December 1st, the Taoiseach said the restrictions have worked and they have worked well.
Martin said the restrictions brought down the country’s incidence rate which is now the fourth best in Europe.
The Taoiseach who warned that the country cant afford to relax as we must continue to surpress the virus and get those numbers down even further.
He added we have seen cases fall considerably over the last few weeks and we still have a week to go.
