Taoiseach: “If re-elected, the government will have everyone left unemployed during the recession back at work by 2018”

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has claimed the government plans to have the many thousands of workers left unemployed by the recession back at work within three years, if they are re-elected next spring.

The Taoiseach also claimed that he and his fellow TD’s will aim to cut large childcare costs for struggling parents in the next Budget. The news comes after Mr Kenny addressed the economic conference in Dublin about his upcoming budget plans. Mr Kenny claimed that if the the Government is re-elected into power they will see to it that they will replace every job lost during the recession by the year 2018, the Taoiseach also believes that the year 2019 more people than ever will be at work.

The Taoiseach addressed the conference saying: “The reality is that many people do not yet see and do not yet feel the benefits of a recovering economy. “All remain nervous about the risks ahead and the danger of slipping back.
He added: “My commitment to the Irish people is that, under this Government, we are never going back.”
