Met Eireann has this morning issued a wind warning for the west of the country.
Strong winds with gusts of up to 110km/h are expected throughout the day.
The weather will remain very unsettled for the next few days, witht little in the way of sun or summer heat. Temperatures will reach 17C at best, with sunny intervals and outbreaks of rain.
