Earlier this week reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint during a robbery in a Paris hotel room, and needless to say social media was awash with comments about the incident.
But now it seems our very own Taoiseach Enda Kenny has weighed in on the fiasco by stating Mrs Kardashian West would not have been robbed if she had been using an Irish tech security firm.
Mr Kenny made his rather crude comments earlier today in Carlow were he was announcing the creation of 85 new jobs at a new tech security firm Netwatch.
The Taoiseach further explained: “I was going to say that there was a good lady robbed in Paris of jewellery there.”
“Maybe if they had Netwatch, they mightn’t have been. “Send them a message and say ‘over here, we will mind you’.”
