Holding the reins of undue power by the grace of post-election jiggery-pokery, Enda Kenny meant business when he said he’ll personally lead the taskforce in charge of regenerating Dublin’s north inner city.
Mr. Kenny announced this evening an allocation of €1.6m in extra funding for community projects in the area.
It is understood that the former head of the Workplace Relations Commission, Kieran Mulvey, will establish links with local authortities to compile are ‘to do’ list.
New projects may include building sports facilities, cleaning up graffiti, arts-related activities, and other amenities.
