The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that people will be able to have a safe, meaningful and enjoyable Christmas.
According to RTE News, the Taoiseach who said that there will be difficult decisions ahead told his parliamentary colleagues that a decision on leaving Level 5 restrictions will be next week.
Martin who said that any decision will be made in the trust of the public who will be advised to stay safe over the Christmas period.
He added that Ireland should leave restrictions as the third best in Europe when it comes to tackling the virus.
