Tall words by Enda Kenny today.
Speaking on the radio this morning, the Taoiseach said he believes the referendum will pass by a tighter margin than the current polls suggest.
He also spoke about his own “journey” into changing his mind from an erswhile “No” vote to the current official party line of “Yes”. He explained that hearing stories from “ordinary” Irish people made his mind do a somersault and change his voting intentions.
The Taoiseach said “It’s the stories of the ordinary people that have brought me on this journey, to the point where I’m absolutely happy in my own mind and conscience.”
