The Taoiseach Michael Martin has said that workers shouldn’t need proof of vaccination in order to return to the office.
Speaking about the prospect of workers returning to the office by September, the Taoiseach said he understands why some employers may want proof of vaccination.
However he did state that the return to the office is about livelihoods and the Government wants to avoid such kind of distinction.
He added that the vaccination programme is voluntary and people are entitled to their livelihoods.
