The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has the Government can’t fight this virus alone and has asked everyone to treat this virus seriously.
Speaking this evening Martin said that although some people have done what they can in terms of fighting the virus, he said unfortunately some people haven’t.
Martin who confirmed that the country will move to Level 5 restrictions for the next 6 weeks also said 2020 was a hard year but of everyone pulls together we can celebrate Christmas in a meaningful way.
The Taoiseach although he understood the frustration that this news will bring, he reiterated that if we all do what is asked we can once again suppress this virus.
