The Taoiseach Micheal Martin is reportedly set to consider not changing the clocks later this month.
According to FM104, the move is being considered after TD Róisín Shorthall requested that the Taoiseach consider the idea.
FM104 reports that the Social Democrats leader asked the Taoiseach to consider the move in the interests of people’s health.
Shorthall says that by not changing the clocks we would be given longer evenings and therefore help people to get out and exercise.
