The Minister for Finance has reported that tax take for the first 11 months of 2014 is ahead of projections.
Exchequer figures for November will be published this evening, and Mr. Noonan said the figures are “pretty strong”.
He added that 2014 has been a very good year for tax. Revenue take was around €6bn last month.
