Tech giant Samsung is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons again, after the company was forced to delay the much-vaunted release of its flagship product Galaxy Fold due to breakages.
According to a number of reviewers, the gadget, which carries a price tag of almost £2,000, broke within hours of being tested, rendering the handsets unusable.
Samsung has now ascertained that ‘impact on the top and bottom exposed areas of the hinge’ may cause the device to break.
Launch events at Hong Kong and Shanghai that were planned for this week have now been cancelled until further notice.
