There was some sad news announced in the world of technology recently as the inventor modern Email Ray Tomlinson, has sadly passed away.
The news was announced by his employer Raytheon. Mr Tomlinson is credited with the invention of how we communicate and send documents in the modern era. Mr Tomlinson’s technical revolution in 1971 changed the landscape of communications for the better when he introduced the first network person-to-person email, in a era when there was limited capacity.
Mr Tomlinson was also holder of numerous awards and other accolades, a number of former colleagues have said he was humble and modest, and he will sadly be missed.
