Two people have lost their lives during the third night of violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the shooting of a black man by local police.

In the latest city to be rocked by the wave of civil unrest spreading across America, videos spreading on social media show rioters clashing with police and destroying property. According to Reuters, armed vigilante militias have taken to the streets in some neighbourhoods to keep residents and local businesses safe from the destruction.
The unrest follows the shooting of 29 year old black Kenosha resident Jacob Blake, who was shot while trying to enter his car after a struggle with police. Four of the seven bullets fired on him hit his back, leaving him paralysed in hospital and ‘fighting for his life’, Reuters reports.
Meanwhile violence has continued on the streets of Portland, Oregon and Louisville, Kentucky where tensions are still high following the death of George Floyd in Minnesota.
