A 16-year-old boy has been found guilty of abducting, raping and murdering six-year-old Alesha MacPhail.
According to Metro.co.uk, the teenager who cannot not be named due to legal reasons was found guilty of all charges in the Scottish High Court this afternoon.
It is alleged that the teenager killed the 6-year-old after he abducted her from her grandparents home in the Scottish Island of Bute, in July, 2018.
The dissappear of Alesha became world news when a major search operation was launched to find her.
However in July 2nd, last year, little Alesha’s naked body was discovered on the grounds of the abandoned Kyles Homeopathic Hotel.
Despite pleading not guilty during the trial, the teenager was found guilty of all charges this afternoon.
He is expected to be sentenced in the coming days ahead.
