A teenager has been left with serious injuries following an attack in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood that an 18-year-old male was assaulted on O’Connell St. in the capital and had to be rushed to hospital shortly afterwards.
The victim’s injuries are described as ‘serious’ but not life-threatening.
An 18-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident was later released.
Gardaí in Store Street are appealing for witnesses to contact Store Street Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
