Gardaí in Co Wicklow have confirmed that a teenager has been taken to hospital following a road traffic incident this afternoon.
It is understood the teenager was airlifted to hospital after he was struck by a bus on Main Street, in Arklow town.
The incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 4:30pm.
It is not yet known the extent of the boy’s injuries, but it they are thought to be serious.
