A teenager has been shot dead during a protest in Detroit to demand justice for the death of George Floyd.
The victim, a 19-year-old male, sustained fatal gunshot wounds on Friday night. The identity of the shooter is not immediately clear.
America has been rocked by protests after the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who passed away after a police officer pinned him down with his knee during an arrest procedure in Minneapolis last Monday.
The arresting officer, identified as officer Derek Chauvin, has been dismissed from the police force and arrested on charges of third-degree murder.
If convicted, Chauvin might face up to 25 years in jail.
