Communications giant Eir has rolled out 5G coverage across 10 Irish towns and cities today.
Eir users living in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Carlow, Castlebar, Dundalk, Drogheda, and Kilkenny will enjoy faster data access and other advantages, with connection speeds of up to 1Gbps.
Up to 100 new locations across Ireland are planned to be 5G-enabled by the end of 2019.
Many people feel 5G are extremely dangerous and have voiced their concerns but communications companies deny that 5G have any side affects.
