If you’re feeling a little ropey this morning after last night’s antics then this just might be for your or your friend.
Thanks to a UK man’s great-great grandfather, a Cheltenham-based non-alcoholic beverage company is about to worth £4.29 million.
The natural “cure” Overhang was founded in 2014 by father and son William and Stephen Wilkinson, but its history goes back several decades.
The drink is based on a century-old Italian family recipe and is a natural mixture free of ginger, orange and lime preservatives mixed with milk thistle, burdock, raspberry leaves and vitamins. .
There are no additives, E numbers or sweeteners, as in the production of the drink.
The recipe for this drink dates back to the beginning of the century when businessman Antonio Vacarra, William’s great-grandfather, emigrated from Genoa (Italy) to Cheltenham.
To counter his hectic lifestyle, Antonio developed a secret invention known today as ‘Overhang’, which reportedly will make you feel renewed and invigorated.
The same drink has been in the family for seven generations and is often used when members feel extremely tired.
But the idea of making it worldwide came decades later on a ship to Bristol when his grandson William Wilkinson travelled with his group.
When William wasn’t feeling well he decided that the product should be in supermarkets to help others recover from hangover symptoms.
Overhang is now stocked in UK’s Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda, Holland and Barrett, WHSmith, Bargain Booze and on Amazon UK.
It already has a turnover of £200,000 and will soon be worth some £4.29million.
Tell your friends who suffer from hangovers the good news, tag and share it with them!
