Whether you voted for him or not, Enda Kenny is getting a whopping €126,000 a year from the State’s purse from the hard working taxpayer.
This comes on the back of the fact that Kenny has missed 96% of Dail votes since stepping down as Taoiseach.
According to RTE Investigates, the former Taoiseach didn’t vote in 96% of all Dáil votes that took place between June 2017 and July 2019.
Kenny just voted 15 times out of some 400 votes between June 2017 and July 2019.
Once could assume that Kenny literally didn’t bother to turn up to the Dail to vote.
The worst part of the investigation is that Kenny claimed almost €50,000 in expenses under the Travel and Accommodation Allowance (TAA) for his attendance in the Dail.
