“The anticipation is worse” – The public anxiously await a decision on whether we’re getting locked down again

Many people have been saying all weekend that the waiting is worse and that the indecision, not knowing and lack of clear decision making is utterly disgraceful. People are saying that they just need to know what is happening and when.

The Taoiseach Micheal Martin, Tanaiste Leo Varadkar and Green Party’s Eamon Ryan will have to make a decision tomorrow as to whether or not the country is going to be locked down once more.

It’s not yet known what way they’re going to go but it’s understood that there is real concern over whether or not the country could sustain another lockdown or not from both a financial and psychological point of view.

With more than 48,000 confirmed cases of covid in the Republic, many believe that Martin will enforce Level 5 as a result.
