The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan is to step down from his role




The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has confirmed that he is to step down from his role.

In an announcement the Taoiseach Micheal Martin confirmed that Dr Holohan will step down from his role after 14 years.

Paying tribute to Dr Holohan the Taoiseach thanked the Chief Medical Officer for his professionalism over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic.
