The coming of winter: Met Eireann warns a marked descent in temperatures towards the end of the month

This week’s weather may be rather mild and benign, but the national forecaster warns that this may be all about to change.

Temperatures may begin to be markedly lower towards the end of this month, with lows of -4C possible.

Enjoy the mild weather while it lasts, as this week is expected to be rather warm and relatively mild for the time of year, with temperatures reaching 13C-14C.
