Just a few short months ago, we were watch incredulously, as the conspiracy theorists were saying that vaccines would be mandatory and we would all be microchipped.
Well, we now know that mandatory vaccines have been rolled out in democracies such as the USA and now to our surprise, an injectable microchip that can replace a Covid passport has been developed.
According to RTE, a Swedish company is offering microchips for under the skin for use as a Covid-19 health pass.
Several thousand Swedes have opted to have an electronic implant inserted under the skin in recent years, eliminating the need to remember key fobs, business cards, public transport cards, and recently:
vaccine passes.
The managing director of the microchip acknowledged that many “people see chip implants as a scary technology, as a surveillance technology”, he said that instead they should be viewed as a simple ID tag.
