The Labour party may have been practically decimated on Friday night but rumours are circulating since late last night and this morning that “Mr Irish Water” Alan Kelly is about to launch an attack on Joan Burton’s Labour party leadership.
Having managed by the skin of his teeth to save his seat, Kelly who had been assumed that Joan Burton would not win her seat, is now said to be launching a vicious and ruthless attack for the leadership of Labour party off 67-yr-old Burton.
While many will consider it a fairly pathetic position to fight for, it’s assumed that the feral instincts in the remaining TD’s will come to the fore and lead to a fairly divisive and spite-filled campaign.
