
On Tuesday, the famous comedian and actor Jon Kenny, who passed away on Saturday, will be buried, reports Breaking News.
After suffering a heart attack, Mr. Kenny of Hospital, County Limerick, passed away at University Hospital Galway (UHG). He also had a protracted and widely reported fight with cancer.
After hearing of his passing, hundreds of condolences were given to the well-liked 66-year-old.
On rip.ie, his family made the funeral preparations public, reports Breaking News.
“We regret to inform you of Jon’s passing on November 15th, while he was under the excellent care of the staff at University Hospital Galway,” they stated.
Mr. Kenny was encircled by his family, which included his “devoted” children Laya and Aran as well as his “loving” wife Margy.
His death notice continued: “Jon is predeceased by his mother Mamie, his father John and his brother Tom. Sadly missed also by his loving sisters Anne, Joan and Deirdre. Also by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his many friends and neighbours,” reports Breaking News.
On Monday, November 18th, from 4 to 7 p.m., the father of two will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Church, Lough Gur, Bruff. His funeral liturgy is scheduled for Tuesday at noon. He will be laid to rest at the nearby cemetery, reports Breaking News.
In a tribute to his late friend, Pat Shortt, co-star of D’Unbelievables, said he was “lucky to get to spend many years touring with Jon and learning from him.”
In addition, Mr. Kenny was well-known for his parts in The Banshees of Inisherin, Father Ted, and Angela’s Ashes, reports Breaking News.
