After a single-vehicle collision on Thursday, a man in his 40s was declared dead at Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore on Saturday evening, reports Breaking News.

The man in his 40s who was driving the vehicle was gravely hurt in the incident and later died.
According to the GardaÃ, a post-mortem examination will be scheduled when the local coroner has been informed, reports Breaking News.
The Gardaà are still urging people to come forward as witnesses.
Road users who may have dash-cam or other camera video who were in the vicinity on Thursday between 8:15 and 9:15 am are requested to provide it to the gardaà who are conducting the investigation, reports Breaking News.
