According to Green Party Senator Pauline O’Reilly, all International Protection applicants who were sleeping outside the International Protection Office due to heavy snowfall were given emergency accommodations last night, reports RTE.
In the Dublin city center, almost a hundred asylum seekers were camped up near the International Protection Office, which is located off Mount Street.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Saturday with Colm Ó Mongáin, Ms. O’Reilly stated that outreach was done to make sure that all individuals looking for emergency housing were contacted, reports RTE.
