A new documentary series called ‘The Guards’ started on Virgin Media television on Wednesday night.
The programme was meant to be a fly-on-the-wall type documentary in Blanchardstown, Dublin which depicted the job that gardai do on a daily basis.
Social media has been awash with commentary about the show already with many claiming that they it’s very true to life. It’s already been well acclaimed for showing footage that was never seen before, such as the direct aftermath of an attempted shooting and a real-time car chase.
