The governments plans to house 200,000 Ukrainian refugees and thousands of asylum seekers from other countries in Ireland ahead of our own people has caused one reader to make an unusual suggestion.
Such is the anger by some in the Irish Community towards our politicians and their plans to put foreigners ahead of our own people for housing, one of our readers posted the following when responding to an article on Ukrainian refugees.
“All the homeless and families on the housing list, should simply leave Ireland and throw away their passports and return as refugees.”
